GRADING POLICIES FOR CABOOLTURE SPORTS SOCCER CLUB
The Caboolture Sports Soccer Club CDO and CDC representatives will organise and arrange all grading ses-sions. All teams that require grading will be graded by the CDO. The CDO will invite other persons to assist them in these sessions as they see fit.
All players must be signed on before attending grading. Any player not signed on for the current year’s registration will not be considered for selection.
The parents will not get involved or hinder the CDO or their representatives in their grading sessions. The par-ents will be asked to observe their child from a designated area.
The Club will Endeavour to allocate every registered player at CSSC. However, registration of a player does not guarantee a playing position at the CSSC. A team must have a minimum number of players and a Coach. The minimum number of players required will depend on the age group and will be decided by the CSSC or the CDC. In the event that a player cannot be allocated into a team, the club will refund your monies paid in full ASAP.
Players may be asked to play in an older age group. If so the CDO in accordance with Football Queensland Age Policy will assess the player.
Grading may take several sessions and will be at the discretion of the CDO and the CDC. When the initial teams are announced, there will be a 4 weeks cooling off period for all players before the teams are finalised. Some players may not cope at a certain level and some players may require promotion to a higher level. All these assessments will be made by the CDO and CDC.
Throughout the year, the CDO will have the power to change players from teams. These decisions will be made in the best interest of the player and the Club. The CDO’s decision will be final.
All new players and previous players of the Club that arrive after grading or later into the season will be as-sessed by the CDO and allocated to a team if numbers permit.
Playing in a team in the previous year will not guarantee a position in the same team this year, with the excep-tion of the small sided teams.
U9 & U10 DEVELOPMENT SQUADS
It is not compulsory to try out for the U9 or the U10 Development Squads. It is volunteer only. It is open to boys and girls and lower aged children may try out, however lower age children which are successful will need to be graded by the CDO in accordance with Football Queensland Age Player Policy. The U9 Develop-ment Squad will play in the U10 competition and the U10 development team will play in the U11 Div 3 compe-tition, however this decision will be at the discretion of the CDO and CDC prior to the start of the season
U11 TO SENIORS
It is not compulsory for players to try out for Division 1. However we do encourage players to play at their highest level. Players who do not make the Division 1 team will be graded into Division 2, 3 etc. Teams may be combination of several age groups to make up numbers or allow players to be allocated to a team. CSSC will Endeavour to allocate every player that signs on, however signing on is not a guarantee for a team posi-tion.
If any member of the Caboolture Sports Soccer Club has a complaint in regards to this Policy, it must be placed in writing and submitted to the Secretary of Caboolture Sports Soccer Club
