LOCAL PRODUCT
Tasia Morrison continues to impress the powers that be in Football.  Tasia has just received news that she has been invited to attend the u17 girls Queensland trials.  Considering Tasia is still 15 this is a fantastic effort.  Well done Tasia.  Good luck.

Recently Tasia scored for the u16 Rebel Sports Sunshine Coast team in there 5-1 demolition of Far North Coast.  At the weekend gone, they played the highly rated Gold Coast team which they had never beaten down the years.  Despite this, Sunshine Coast scored first and held Gold Coast out until the final five minutes.  The game ended 1-1.

Tom Swane’s u12 Rebel Sport outfit came up against Albany Creek.  In conditions that can only be labelled appalling both teams struggled in the wet conditions.  However, a quality display in the midfield by Tom help control Albany Creeks attacking movements and keep the score line tight
through the entire game.  The game highlight was Tom scoring his first Rebel Sport goal.  Unfortunately it wasn’t enough as Albany Creek prevailed 2-1.  This weekend will see the u12’s travel to Cleveland to face a much
improving Redlands team.

On the downside u12 girls Sunshine Coast captain Tahia Marshall has been plagued by a hand injury which upon medical advice has kept her out of active duty.  Her goal poaching was gravely missed last weekend as the unbeaten Gold Coast team came to town.  A brave effort by the team saw them restrict Gold Coast and minimise the score line to a 3-0 loss.  Unfortunately, Tahia will also miss this weekends clash away to Brisbane.

Kind regards
